Designer Zang Toi is loved by everyone for his thematic shows and his princess-like gowns. I love him even more this year thanks to the amazing second row seat he kindly gave me! Southern Femmes can find his collection at Gus Mayer in Nashville (his trunk show will be at the store October 1st-3rd).

EMERSON was quite a pleasant surprise I have to say! The music was vibrating the room, the models walking with a purpose, and the collection was very cool! Designer Jackie Fraser-Swan (whose distant relative is Ralph Waldo Emerson) was inspired by 1970’s horror films such as Carrie and The Amityville Horror. The collection does have a 70’s flare but is still modern with peplums and classic button downs. Enjoy!
