I constantly stress to my Style Coaching clients that true style is all about taking what’s in your wardrobe, or what’s in the stores, AND making it ALL YOUR OWN.
So, my fabulous Southern Femme team and I decided to take action and style 1 skirt, 3 ways to showcase our uniquely different personal styles…
MEGAN’S WAY- “I love taking feminine items, like this pencil skirt, and making them my own with some edgy and unique pieces. For fall, I’m excited about rocking some great leather booties, and the new trend of digital and comic inspired designs, like on this cashmere pullover.”
ALEIGH’S WAY-“When I first started putting together this outfit, I instantly thought ‘this needs peplum and pointy toe stilettos.’ I love how to show off a fun, feminine look!”
EILEEN’S WAY– “When I put together an outfit, my goal is for it to look classy chic and yet still playful. I think a ruby red lip would look great with this too.”
How would you style this fabulous printed pencil skirt??

I think the biggest mistake you can make is trying to copy someone. You never stand out or get noticed in someone’s shadow. The most memorable looks are usually the risky ones that are true to an individual’s personality. I love the KaPow grey sweatshirt. My style is more casual. Although, I would wear it with jeans (I might even go out of my comfort zone and wear red jeans instead of blue) and those black boots! I usually wear tennis shoes, but I like the boots! I also really like the pink bag.
Thanks April for the wonderful comment, we at Southern Femme 100% agree with you! It’s all about trying new things and finding the styles, colors, etc that make you feel and look great!
