There were plenty of oversized trousers, sandals of all shapes and colors, sweaters, and color block at Menswear Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 in Paris last week. I can’t predict the future but I must say that menswear is headed in a new direction in terms of comfort and fashion gender rules. More designers are trading the loafers for sandals, treating the sweater as a tee, the slipper has become more popular than ever, and adding a ‘pop of color’ is a true understatement this season.
