Chris Benz, a young American designer from Washington state just recently released his Resort 2013 collection, and  it is just as fabulous as his previous collections. It is filled with  pops of color and sophisticated style.  He is known for his eclectic ensembles and beautiful patterns that he learned to perfect at  Parsons School of Design. He graduated in 2004 and in just three short years launched his first ready to wear collection in 2007. Here is his Resort Collection that was released just this month that is full with trends for this summer!

Chris Benz has created a stylish work look with his beautiful signature floral print.

The print continues from head to toe with this elegant for evening, yet with the right accessories fabulous daytime dress.

This floral print (an obvious trend this summer!) is a little less bold but just as lighthearted.  This look is sophisticated and put together.

The rest of the collection is more about bold brights– also a trend for this summer!  Benz presents his brights in daringly sophisticated ways.

Color blocking is another huge trend this season, and will be carried into the fall too!

This also brings up the midi-length (mid-calf) skirt trend for this summer, as well as the sheer details we are seeing everywhere. This cream skirt with a striped sweater would be great for a mild summer day, or even an outfit for early fall!

This midi-length skirt look is great for a relaxed night out when you of course still want to remain effortlessly chic.

Lastly Benz created a sophisticated noir (black) number that would be great for any evening event.
