When browsing back through my NYFW pictures to get inspired for a few upcoming fall photo shoots, I discovered I had not shared all of my  fashion week images with y’all!  So in honor of the upcoming fall season, hitting stores everywhere very soon, I will post one NEW NYFW show a week leading up to the ‘fall fashion’ season…

I’ll begin with my favorite looks from the Brazilian designer Carlos Miele:

Carlos Miele is known for his sexy, dramatic looks, with a Latin flair.  He said of his FW11 collection- he was inspired to create more eveningwear separates, like this rich burnt orange fluid skirt and striped fitted sweater.

Trend Alert: Mixing and Matching Patterns and Prints! Try simple stripes and florals paired together in complimentary hues.

Carlos Miele, like so many designers, incorporated fur into his most recent collection.  Fox fur was Miele’s choice for this collection.

Trend Alert: Braids are not going anywhere.  Initiated by Alexander Wang’s Spring 2010 Runway Show, braids both loose and tight are an easy way to look on trend and pulled together.

Can we say luxury?? Velvet evening harem pants and a fur caplet, yes please!
