The first scene of the Linly show was full of Ladylike Luxe looks in a color palette of red/black/white followed by a neutral color story…complemented by beaucoup de furs!

WOW what an experience…producing the 52nd annual Linly Heflin Fashion Show & Luncheon was by far one of the most incredible experiences I have had in my brief time in the fashion industry!  And I’ve been lucky enough to learn from the best…Arlene Goldstein the Trend Director of Belk, Paul Pelssers of the NYC Retail Report, & Audrey Lindquist the former Producer of the Linly Heflin Fashion Show.

Producing the show was a far larger task than I imagined but such an invigorating experience full of new people, fabulous fashion from Gus Mayer, and of course the insane pleasure of meeting & working with the famed celebrity designer, Gusatvo Cadile!!

All in all I was brought to tears by the standing ovation of the 1000+ women attending the show & the plethora of emails, phone calls, & texts I received applauding the event…it’s one of those times when you feel so blessed to be allowed to have a career that goes hand in hand with your passion.

Ok enough babbling…enjoy the few pictures of the show AND get excited for the video & photos coming soon from the talented Nik Layman.  He was kind enough to do a ‘behind the scenes’ shoot of the Linly show…he will reveal all of the juicy stuff most people never get to see!  So stay tuned!

The second scene of the fashion show screamed Utility Chic as the models strutted down the runway to Phoenix & the Black Eye Peas…fur vests, leather pants, studded bags, cargo jeggings…basically anything completely bad ass!

The models rockin’ the leather pants from Gus Mayer

Cozy sweaters, capes, & jackets paired with army green pieces like skinny cargos & across the body bags

LOVED these looks!! Hilary (on the left) in a lilac 3.1 Phillip Lim draped dress & an INCREDIBLY AMAZING biker meets trench coat.  And it’s just the back of Valerie (right) but she looked to.die.for in a McQ by Alexander McQueen fitted heather gray blazer & a 3.1 Phillip Lim tulip skirt.  Let’s not forget the always handsome Kip wearing a Michael Kors look head to toe.

The gorgeous, sweet, & completely down to earth Miss Alabama, Ashley Davis looking stunning in a 3.1 Phillip Lim fur lined trench coat!

Scene Three!  Two of my favorite people…Erika & Christina beautifully showing off Gus Mayer cocktail dresses & furs!  How great is the black sequin dress paired with textured black tights?!

The fabulous Deidre, Virginia, & Kathleen displaying a rich & lush texture story full of lace, embellishments, fur & more!

Iveta & the always dapper David :) She’s looking so rich in a gray satin Ports 1961 dress from Gus Mayer.

Now for the designer scene…Gustavo Cadile’s BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL cocktail dresses & gowns…Let me tell ya everyone was dying over these dresses!

Deidre & last year’s Miss Alabama, Liz Cochran (also one of my fab sorority sisters!) stunning the crowd in gold gowns & dressy jackets.

Et volia…the wedding gown in a blush perfect for Miss Alabama & her dashing pseudo-fiance Russ!

Such a touching moment…Linly’s producer for the past 25 years, the tres chic Audrey Lindquist & I thanking everyone for attending the 52nd annual Linly Heflin Fashion Show & Luncheon.
